I like being able to punch anyone without anyone else noticing. I'm playing on hard mode, and solid snaked through 1/4th of the game already, killing only mutants, and knocking out anything human. Even though most of it resulted in a lot of gunfights. I was overly cautious and trying to avoid confrontation. I played the game through, and the only reason I could think why I died a hero rather than lived as one, was I killed people before they had a chance to surrender. There are a dozen or so silly FAQ's all over online telling you that mass murder of anything well armed and walks on two legs carrying a gun will screw the pooch. So, its just like the first game, collect enough moral points and you can get the good ending. This is how the games should be, karma-system should be subtle, like in Metro. Live it and you get the ending you will deserve. Try not to be mechanical about the game and it's ending. I killed many people - especially those r-a-p-e-rs and sadist banditsīut I was inquisitive about the world, listened to people and helped them and just acted the way I thought best. This single change in playthrough was enough to give me the good ending Seems the moral points for saving the two humans and one bear are indeed particularly important.
